-Mirko Cro Cop (#2 Heavyweight in the World)* vs. Eddie Sanchez
-Anderson Silva (#2 Middleweight)* vs. Travis Lutter
-Quinton Jackson (#7 Light Heavyweight)* vs. Marvin Eastman
    -Ryoto Machida vs. Sam Hoger
    -Tyson Griffin vs. Frank Edgar
    -Melvin Guillard vs. Dustin Hazelett
    -Scott Smith vs. Patrick Cote
    -Jorge Rivera vs. Terry Martin
    -Roger Huerta vs. John Halverson

In 2006, I'd say only UFC 58, 59 and 65 were the really good cards, but 2007 is starting off with a great card right off the bat. I am looking forward to a lot of these fights, almost all of them. I think the Rivera vs. Martin fight could be interesting.

And..UFC 68 is right around the corner, it looks great already too. The UFC is really pulling things together this year.

To be fair, UFC 63 and 64 were good too, I just think this entire card is stacked.

I hope the Scott Smith fight is on the televised card, I really like watching him fight. I hope he fights leben soon and knocks him the fuck out.

i meant about the matchups themselves are good and he's being pretty smart about hierarchies and ladders that need to be climbed

I dunno, I liked Leben for awhile. But now I'd just rather see him get KO'd again and stick him in the WEC or something. I like watching Scott Smith fight a lot more than Leben.

yea i liked him too on the show ..... i think he matured more than anybody there..i dunno what happened to him, they gave him anderson way too fast....i honestly think if he changes his style a little bit (keeps hands up, throws more straight punches, keeps his chin down..ect ) he could be a much better fighter, his last 2 fights looked really slow and lethargic.
Oh well, im a fan but hes been dissapointing.

I wouldn't say they gave him Silva too quickly. Leben was 5-0 in the UFC at that point and was in contention for a shot. He should've put MacDonald to sleep. Maybe it goes to show that he isn't the fighter everybody made him out to be. Maybe he should go back to Team Quest?
