    Ubuntu + KVM Switch = 640x480 :fawk:

When I boot Ubuntu with my KVM switch, my resolution can only be 640x480.
When I boot without the KVM switch attached, I can get any resolution I want.

Does anyone know how to get around this?
If it helps, my /etc/X11/xorg.conf is below.

    # /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
    # values from the debconf database.
    #
    # Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
    # (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
    #
    # This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
    # if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
    # package.
    #
    # If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
    # again, run the following commands:
    #
    # cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.custom
    # sudo sh -c 'md5sum /etc/X11/xorg.conf http://www.wwwgoogle.com/>/var/lib/xfree86/xohttp://www.wwwgoogle.com/rg.conf.md5sum'
    # sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

What KVM? At work I have a Linksys KVM2KIT with an Ubuntu machine and an XP machine hooked up to it and I have no problem running at high resolution on both machines.

I use IOGear and ZoNet KVM's without issue on many distros... The only thing I can think of is your USB KVM using PnP to set resolutions. But that may be a stretch.
