US and china isnt really a country to talk about our culture being bad. there is a reason private gun ownership is banned in china.

    I got to right here

and didn't know if I should laugh or be pissed, they are talking 46 firearms related murders in their country and then compare it to all murders in NYC which as far as US gun laws go has some pretty strict ones.

I think it is about time that The United Stated did in fact wake up and begin discussing things openly and honestly, maybe then we will finally come to the understanding the we as a country do not have a problem with firearms, but that as a country we do have a problem with violence.

I saw that too... its a good point though. This is how the anti-gun liberals make their arguments.
Little discreet fluctuations in facts, misrepresented stats, and apples-to-oranges comparisons like that one right there.

tim russert on leno last night said that most dems know that gun control is not a good thing for them to stay in office, so they would probably avoid it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. When europe has a lower overall crime rate than the US, then they can talk shit about our crime problems, but until then they should fucking work on their own problems insted of sending fucking anti-gun lobbyists to this country. The UK, Spain, Italy, and many other countries over there have higher rates of robbery, assault, rape, and even homicide. Australia too. They can all fuck themselves. :squint:

Suprisingly enough what we both have in common is alot of the crime is committed by immigrants from 3rd world shitholes.. Except for Switzerland who doesn't let anyone in hmm.

Because it's in our fucking constitution you European dipshits. It's our right to be able to protect ourselves.

    Britian = strict gun laws
New York = strict gun laws

Now, they should compare themselves to states such as North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Nebraska, Texas, etc. Look at how low their crime is compared to other areas where they have very "gun friendly" laws.

Well, maybe if we didn't have an open border where people can pass easily they would have less guns being "smuggled" in. If they stop sending their shitbags over here we'll stop sending our guns there. :o

I think that we should tell mexico that until they do something about their people crossing our border we won't do a damn thing about the guns going into theirs.

Found some good information as well.

These stats are for LONDON, England only. There were 14,000 crimes committed per 100,000 people. This means that 14% of people in London were a victim of some sort of crime (murder, rape, robbery, etc.).

In 2006 the United States had a total of 23,113,708 crimes committed which is 7,798 crimes per 100,000 people. That is nearly about half the amount of crime that London has.

Oh, and this is with our "easy" gun control laws.

Not to mention that parents in England buy knife resistant hoodies for their chidlren. I don't see parents making their kids wear kevlar vests to school here.

It's not even us sending our guns to Mexico. What the Mexican side isn't telling you is that it's their own fucking Mexicans here in America sending our guns back to Mexico.

So if they got a fucking clue and started cracking down on their side of the border, less of this would happen.
