I have a like-new Springfield Loaded 5" Lightweight Bi-Tone (model PX9104LP) that I am trying to sell (in need of cash because I am about to move to a new city).

Like new condition. Has 200 rounds of Winchester white box put through it, that's it. Comes with tritium night sights, original case, manual, XD gear holster and magazine pouch, 1 Wilson Combat 8-round magazine, and 2 7 factory magazines. Retails for over $800 new.

Asking $675. Can sell FTF in Austin or can ship via FFL at buyer expense.

E-mail [email protected] if interested. Thanks!

Err...tack on whatever it costs to ship from Austin, TX to your city via FedEx Next Day Air.

Not in CA. Dealers can charge as much as they want in a FFL to FFL or Individual to FFL transfer. Face to face private party transfers (between two individuals) are limited at $35.

No, he meant isn't it illegal to just sent a gun in the mail to another person (not FFL to FFL).
And the answer would be YES.

That's not what I, or Matt, were talking about. I know what you're saying.
I'm talking about one person sending a gun to another person, neither of them have an FFL. Just send the gun in return for money. Illegal.

Oh I don't know. At first I thought maybe he quoted the wrong person.
Then I thought maybe was actually talking about the fees being illegal.
    Now I just don't know.

$100 transfer fees should be illegal though, lol. There should be some kind of a cap somewhere.

Well then, the free market in California isn't forcing the price of FFL fees down.
    You're doing it to yourselves.

That sucks. :( And that was what I was asking about. I thought federal law had a provision on that.

No that's not what I was asking.
