Isn't that overheating? Take some compressed air and blow it out. My firends was nasty dirty and would always do that. We cleaned it out and has been flawless for a couple months now.

    where's your toque, eh?
Before you open the damn thing and void your warranty :uh: Are you keeping it in an open area? Off of carpet? With nothing stacked on top of it? And have the back away from a wall so more air can circulate?

You only void the warranty if you rip the sticker off. Just use a blow-dryer on it for 5 minutes and warranty saved.

I can't decide if i want to pay 99 bucks to get this Elite fixed or just go ahead and buy a brand new 360 arcade edition and just put my 120HDD on that.

RRoD fix. Thermal paste has probably run dry on the CPU/GPU.

I don't have any of the current generation systems but I don't know how people put up with such a defective product. I might buy a 360 if I knew I didn't have to put it in some dust free, air conditioned sanctuary only to have it fuck up for some other random reason.

    got my shit back yesterday!

pretty sure they sent me a brand new xbox being it won't let me play games i already installed on my harddrive.

says that it won't play because of "it's not the same harddrive and console i installed the game to" when it IS the same HDD and i don't know about xbox. guess it's a brand new one. even with through the science thing at the beg the first time i turned it on.

i was amazed at how fast they took care of me.

    1 week turn around.

mailed it out on the 6th........ got it back on the 13th
