I work out hard once a day about 4-5x a week, would it be too much if i did two-a-days about 3 days out of those 5?

You aren't working out hard enough if you think you need two-a-days.

    What are your goals?

in the fall/winter its usually to build mass, then shed off fat spring/summer

right now im on protein (of course) and n.o. xplod for a pre-workout pump and to push out that extra rep

i have the whole day off fridays/saturdays and i work out in the morning usually, but sometimes i got free time in the early evening and i feel like working out again, but i dont know if it would affect my gains by overtraining or not. thats why i asked

Generally you can't pull that off unless you're on some of the good shit, unless you're lifting like a queer.

You know that most growth occurs the day after working out the muscle?

You don't grow in the gym. You grow in the other 23hrs a day.

So IMO 5 days a week or twice a day is pointless unless you're doing something very specialised. Some people *do* do two workouts a day but they might be different exercises (i.e. shoulder press in morning, side raises in evening) and the routines are usually well-designed.

Unless you're at an advanced level looking to break a plateau then I wouldn't bother :dunno:
