    meh, their corporation pays for it and its a tax deductible business expense

    i would do the exact same, but have a 3rd so the person could stand on it

    That's because I've used these damn things for the past 30 years. Speaking of century....I'm sure you know that that is the name of the company than makes them, hence the term "C" stand.

    packs + heads = pro = more than jcoleman can afford

    modularity with different heads / modifiers

    large caps + electronics which give very fast recycle times and in better units very precise control for flash power over duration (which can be also be faster) to minimise changes in output chroma :dunno:

    don't forget you need a head + some cables to make it work, and some kind of modifier to make it useful

    You could shoot bare bulb :o I have a friend (really more of an acquaintance) who does a lot of car photography and shoots bare bulb all the time.
