Tv Tuner cards..... is this a good one?

    Hauppauge WINTV-PVR-500MCE - PCI TUNER card

    it is being sold on buy.com for 134 bucks, was thinking of getting it, any opinions?

    hauppage is the best tv tuner brand that i know of. but i don't have any more knowledge to shed on teh subject.

    pvr-500 is good, but i don't think the linux support is as good as the 250/350's

    so what would be better pvr-500 or pvr-150 i am confused =(

    I'll be picking that up. I had it before but my trial expired and i missed out on a good deal for it. Now, i've formatted so i'm going to get the trial again and make sure its badass. It was before, i just didn't get to play with it much. We'll see. :x:

    I have a question about those... If you record a show and burn it to a DVD, when you play it on you TV will it be clear? Since the tv res is much less that the computer screens?
