I have only a couple things that I need to have in my tv stand, and they include a cable box and an xbox 360 so I'm looking for something simple and can be ordered online .. and I'm getting pretty tired of this ugly old wooden tv stand i have..

Metal is cool and so is glass and I prefer something that's horizontal and somewhat long. I 'd like to mount my TV, so this is mostly just to put my 360 and cable box on.

Any suggestions on sites to check out?

thing is if you go look at all the home design/interior books they always have these beautiful cool living rooms but they NEVER have tvs... so its hard to know whats going to look cool, and the idea of not having a tv in my living room is absurd...

anyways ikea and west elm are better about this they actually are aware of the fact that more people put a tv in their living rooms, shit for most people its at the center of their living rooms

so heres mine i think its bad ass, ikea has some similar shit for WAY cheaper

if youre mounting your tv, i'd suggest that you put your 360 and cable box IN it rather than on top of it..just to keep the look clean
