I just hooked my ps2 via the sony rf adapter to an old school (26" with the wooden casing) sony (haven't used it for about 14 months) tv which was probably built in '86. On some scenes the tv image just shakes up and down. I dont know if this is the tv's fault since it is really old or whatever.

The tv used to fail to turn on, so we took it to Howards, they said it was a faulty capacitor in power supply or something like that (power supply related), declined the repair and its been sitting since. Decided to see if it powers up and it does now.

I just wanted some input before I end up disconnecting other things from my little brother's room to see where the problem is or if its a known fact that some gaming consoles do not work on very old televisions.
