I can't really tell the differences in tuner cards off of newegg... the price gaps are pretty large... and I don't know exactly what to look for.

This is what I'm planning for my rig...
    9600xt 128mb AIW or 9600xt 256mb + tuner card

    Help, please...:x:

    Use the 9600XT AIW.

I have the ATi Radeon 9600 Pro AIW. AIW has everything you will need to capture video, watch TV, and listen to FM radio built right into the card.

If you want to capture TV, get the 9600xt and a good capture card (one that has an onboard MPEG encoder). Otherwise when you capture (not just watch, but actually save video, like a PVR) your box is going to be slammed doing just the encoding. The AIW's don't have hardware MPEG encoding.

If you just want to watch, get the AIW.
