So I just started a new job and need to be able to write queries in Access. I took a class on SQL in college and am able to write SQL statements, but I am a bit shaky on the exacts of how to manipulate things in Access.

Basically I need to do simple things such as "How many people in the list have blood type O+ and are located in the zip code of 15229"

    Thanks!

Access has the ability for you to use SQL statements to issue queries. Don't remember offhand how to get to it however.

I would rather just learn how to actually use access with the queries tab...

    Thanks!

Depends on the version, for 07 Create-Query Design-Right click the tab and choose SQL

for creating them with the access query designer these should point you in the right direction (if you are using 07 the screens will look a bit different but if you cant figure it out you will have problems bigger than this)
