Running the following setup in my 94 Cherokee:

    JVC Arsenal Head Unit KD-AR300
Rockford Fosgate 300w 2 channel Punch amp
JL 10-W1 sub in a truck box (to be moved to a box in the cargo pocket when I get it)

I haven't suned a system since high school. I seem to be getting alot of bass through the 6.5's in the doors and not as much through the sub as I used to. The amp has settings for bass boost, gain, hz and a low/high pass filter

probably be fine around 70hz low pass. Of course youd have to set gain based on how much bass you want.

I dont understand gain setting; i turned it up and it seemed like more bass came out of the door speakers instead of the sub.
