How can you televise Riddle fighting over 3 full fledged pros and Credeur who had great fights throughout the TUF season?

Let hope that a lot of the main fights end early, so we can see most of these undercards.

I dont think the Jeremy Horn vs Dean Lister fight is TV worthy I see it as 2 guys past their peaks with fairly weak standup, its gonna be a snore fest for 95% of the viewers.

Even Matt Arroyo vs. Matt Brown would be better than the Matthew Riddle vs. Dante Rivera fight.

I think so too. I honestly don't know how bad Dante will look unless he unlocked some new super saiyan jutsu.

I really wanna meet who decides what is televised and not. Morons sometimes

  17. I'd say CB has an edge on Amir, but I"m not liking it at these odds. Amir is going to be an excellent fighter, and CB's standup is terrible (aside from great kicks) and he is currently either chinny or doesn't know how to properly take a punch/defend himself (could be either). Furthermore, not being a great finisher and gassing is a bad combination.

That said, Amir only really threatened with submissions once CB was totally shot, and his standup is workable, but he has a long way to go on it too. He's a good finishing threat at all times and positions, because he just goes for it, but his wrestling is poor and his jiu-jitsu is waaaay too loose.

I like Kendall grove over Tanner. Tanner losing to Okami is one thing, but getting laid out like that is an aberration, considering how tough he usually is and how many shots it takes to finish him off. To me, that indicated he was a bit shot. Kendall got knocked out in his last two fights, to two guys that slug very hard in the clinch. I don't think that necessarily means Tanner is just going to come over and knock him out, which seems to be the stat line. The real question for me is the grappling abilities. Kendall has shown he can use his length and jiu-jitsu to control on the ground, threaten, prevent any offense, and even reverse and stand back up. I think he can get a decision over Tanner, given that Tanner will be hard to submit. I've got 1u on grove at +175.

I also have Hazelett at +170. I think Hazelett has been a big time sleeper for a long time. He can't wrestle but he has real knockout power, if not refined standup, and he has the kind of jiu-jitsu that's always always a threat on the ground. Burkman really doesn't bring a lot to the table so I think Hazelett will handle him. 2u at +165

Dean lister over Horn. Lister is never going to be a great MMA fighter, but Horn is shot and doesn't give a crap. He's getting finished regularly now. After chuck nearly killed him, he doesn't care about MMA anymore and just wants a paycheck and promotion for his school. 1u on horn at -115.

Drew Mcfedries scares me. Eastman's chin and striking ability are underrated, but McFedries is very tough and his punching power is nasty. He's had problems with guys that can
    a) take him down or (kampmann)
    b) take his best shots and fire back (cote)

Eastman isn't going to do either of those. 1u on McFedries at -145

I agree with him, I think Lister isn't the greatest or ever will be, but I do like watching his fights...

    I'm glad I didn't watch this season

  24. Heavy action on this event for me, same as last event (where I did well). I may be playing too many fights now and need to reconsider my overall strategy.

    2u on Hazelett at +165
    2u on Grove at +165
    1u on Arroyo at -165
.33u on Cale Yarborough at +305
1u on Dante Rivera at +180
1u on Dean Lister at -115
1u on Drew Mcfedries at -145

it'll go the way of Koscheck vs. Sanchez, except the rare strikes thrown will be that much uglier
