Now that we've gotten to personally know most of the fighters and their MMA style a bit, who do you want to see win this thing?

Also, post whom you voted for and your ideal finale matchup.

Voted for Danzig because he seems to be really passionate about the sport and the most mature dude of the group, and I want to see him and either Georgie or Ben Saunders duke it out in the finale. :coold:

Danzig is the veteran of the group, and it shows in his fighting.

I'd want to see him and George.

I still can't believe JRock got all emotional and broke down in tears after his loss in the last episode. He was definitely one of my early favorites, but I have to admit I lost a little respect for him after seeing that, not to mention his lackluster performance in the cage. :hs:

They have GOT to set Danzig up with Hightower in one of the quarter or semifinal matches. That would be interesting to see considering how much animosity he feels towards the dude. :coold:

Warmachine is pretty badass. I've seen 2 of his fights and I could see him doing well.

maybe you wouldn't cry, maybe i wouldn't, maybe most here wouldn't, but did you seriously lose respect for the guy due to him being emotional about getting knocked out on national TV infront of the world, and his dream of winning a contract and a bunch of money just died, yada yada yada, hey that's emotional stuff, i wouldn't hold that against a guy even if most of us may not ball like that, we each express our emotions a bit differently

basically, is it that big of a deal to cry after your world goes to shit? fuck man, we've all cried sometime

I dig Ben's style but the guy is a total douche bag so I wish him nothing but misery for the rest of his life. Mac is cool as shit so I hope he gets it.

Any link to his previous fights? That guy seems like a powerful KO striker but not the most technical fighter.

I see what you're saying, but if I lost a match I would just swallow it up, watch the tapes, learn from my mistakes, and get back in the gym asap. I wouldn't try to make a big deal about it, especially in front of everyone because that's just asking for attention and consolation from teammates, which is a bitch move imo. :ugh2: And especially after how he appeared like a tough guy at the faceoff/weigh-ins. :mamoru:

But you're right, everyone expresses their emotions differently. I just thought it was ironic how the "tough guy" ended up exactly like a baby in tears after the fight.

Macs got the experience and skill to win it
Bens a good striker and is an awkward guy to fight <-my pick for winning it.
George looked composed and I was impressed with his boxing which was a bit of a suprise as he is a solid brown belt in BJJ, plus he is an Aussie <- hope he is a finalist so we can get some UFC fights down here.

No love for Billy Miles or Matt Arroyo? Or "Fight Club" Kolosci?

Some of my other favs, but not sure if they have what it takes to win it all.

yeah arroyo could sure be a dark horse in this thing. always sort of in background of the show, Arroyo v Mac in the final would be a fun match up (but i voted George, only because he won't wake those lazy ass holes up lol)

The fights I saw him were 2 in Tijuana and 1 in San Diego....
