After Laimon and Serra argued and matt hughes saying "You guys gonna grapple now?"
this one was a good episode.
"A couple (elbows) landed but I'm still looking pretty ladies."
I love shonie carter, I dont care what anybody says that guy is awesome
probably best episode of the season so far. i kinda chuckled when Shonie connected with the spinning back fist again. shoudlve thrown it a lot more. you can tell Serra was scared of it.
Serra vs Lytle in the finale should be good as well.
Shonie should've thrown a couple in the third round, Serra's hands were down a lot then.
wut the fuck was goin on with the corners? lol
Matt looked good but not that good. For being a bad ass BJJ I thought he could have has Shoni in a rear naked choke a few times
Man im so behind this season it's ridiculous lmao. Shonnie is pretty badass.
Nice fight, Serra was really giving it all with the takedowns and the grappling and though I know he was using the clinch to get a takedown, he went into it too often and it was scary hearing him grunt at every knee Shonie gave. After this fight I definitely give Carter more respect than I ever used to, but I'm glad Serra got the decision.
lol at Phoney Carter though
It almost seemed like Shoni was covered in grease.... Matt just couldn't hold him in anything on the ground... I honestly expected Matt to finish him early by submission, but I suppose Shoni probably learned a few things about getting out of them in his 100 or so fights...
matt hughes winding Laimon and Serra up and then sitting back and laughing his ass off while they argue was just about the funniest shit i've seen on tv in awhile.
That's all I could think too, he would have KO'd him for sure.
"fighting isn't for everybody"
when he kept saying that shit i was like aren't you supposed to be a coach for fighters working for a company that promotes fights......
big surprise that it looks like people prefer having serra coach them on jiu jitsu than going to laimon's lazy ass.
and talking shit on royce,,,,,uh yeah hughes wasted him but the guy is a great fighter and if you're talking that much shit you gotta know someone is gonna jump on your ass sooner or later
and yeah he got wasted by Matt Hughes, if you're a punk for losing to Matt Hughes then there are a lot of great fighters out there that are punks i guess as far as Laimon's stupid azz is concerned huh. I fucking hate that guy and wish serra would have just jumped on that azz hole with a flying knee lol
everything Serra said to laimon was on point and true. Like Din said respect for Serra went up 100%.
BTW had everbody seen the Shonie carter commercial they have been running on spike all the time, Funny ass commercial. Fuck you and Thank you.
From last nights episode:
- Further added to my dislike of Hughes
- Was it just me or was Serra not passing half guard as easily as he should have? Shonie def. earned more respect with that fight.
- Should be a solid WW final
- I know Laimon and all the guys at Cobra Kai are pretty bad ass, would have loved to watch those two roll for a bit
I wonder if Serra thinks Hughes is an even bigger "penis" now
Serra is way too emotional of a fighter, he was up and down in the fight more then I have seen most fighters in a long time.
Hughes is a riot, dislike the guy as a person even though he is a great fighter, but last night damn was he funny!
I fell on the floor laughing when Serra said something like;
"Your like a swim coach that has never been in the pool"
hahahahaha, it was SOOOO true, Laimon needs to shut his mouth and Dana needs to see how worthless he is and get rid of him.
I'm surprised no one has commented on the flying side kick Serra threw. That was the Mickey's flying side kick of the night!
When that spinning backfist connected I was
I almost shit my pants when they back fist caught Matt. The he got gun shy for the rest of the fight. Maybe its ring rust or something mental but he was not as dominant as I thought he would or could be
Ok so I totally forgot about this episode and just watched it (thank god for DVR )
Holy shit @ phonie carter show
and Serra's fight was actually closer than I though it'd be
Does anyone else think that Serra is a little too short to be fighting at the 170? I think he'd do a lot better at 155.
he was a 155 guy, but this show is obviously not having a 155 tourney. same with Din if im correct.
