Why the fuck shouldn't we be searched like anyone else?
How hard would it be for a terrorist to buy a set of dress blues and use a fake mil ID so he could wear a bomb under his jacket?

Wish I could say the same, when I was coming back from the desert the fuckers stopped me in Portland and did everything but a cavity search. I showed my mil ID and my orders and all that seemed to do was make them more into searching me.... Nearly missed the last leg of my flight home cause of them. Nothing like being 4 hours early for the flight home and then nearly missing it cause of some jackass.

So you think they shouldn't be searched because they're wearing a military dress uniform? Bull shit. Everyone who goes on a flight needs to be screened. It doesn't matter if you're in the military or not. Guess what? There are criminals in the military too.

That's something I've noticed also. Sometimes I show one of my military ID's and sometimes I show my credentials. Either way I don't get any positive special treatment nor professional courtesy. I normally always get the secondary screening. I only assume it is because they believe the military or another federal agency is trying to test them to ensure they are doing their job or that they are MORE apt to search you because they know they WON'T find anything.

Either way, I get searched all the time and it isn't because I set the metal detector off...
