After seeing how amazing Tits pictures are i want to jump into off camera strobe. i already have a 430ex (i use it for random shots and stopping motion), but thinking about getting the kit from Midwest Photo, recommended by thestrobist What does everyone think?

    This is teh kit...

but without the vivatar flash, I would be getting the Sunpak 383, because i hear its better and cheaper.

    What does everyone think?

Why not use your 430 with the kit? Or were you going for two lights?

I just got one of the midwest photo kits. The light stand doesn't collapse as small as I'd like and I'd like different ball bungees, but for the price it really can't be beat. I bought a nikon sb-28 so I got the one without the flash.

I love mpex... I need to swing by the store and pick up another light stand and another umbrella and holder...
