does anyone have some advice on helping me capture video(and audio) from Windows Media Player?

Any way I can do this without shelling out $40+ on a program?

    :x:

What exactly do you mean? Chopping up a video or capturing from a video device to your PC?

    Do you have XP SP2??

There's a pretty good program in Windows called Windows Movie Maker.

You open the program, drap and drop the video file, and can do whatever you want with it...
