Me and a few housemates were looking into buying mats for our basement but couldn't really find a place that would ship to canada for a decent rate. Does anyone know of any sites that could ship out to the Kingston area without having to pay ridiculous fees. Coudln't find anything on ebay and i don't really want to have to go the puzzle piece route.

yeah, its i'm moving in a month to go back to school in kingston and noone has a car or access to any sort of mma store or bjj store or someone to run across the border for us to pick shit up. So unless we steal shit from some gymnastics facility we need to ship stuff in.

hmm maybe i'll try that but if it doesn't work i'll have to order mats anyways. I was kinda worried about knee injuries with the puzzle pieces. Where did you buy yours from, the wal-mart variety just as good as any other?

I have 2 sets of 4x8 (so 8x8 square total) folding mats in my basement I sometimes use to roll with a friend who trains at another school. Folding mats aren't the greatest but they aren't horrible either.

I picked them up at a sporting goods store over the winter for half off each on sale.

    Kind of like these:
