    I just bought me a new 80 gig HD, so now I have two 80 gig HD's in my comp. Well for some reason when I start up, it recognizes the 2nd hard drive, but when windows is finally booted up, it doesn't recognize it, it just sees the 1 80gig. I have tried just about every jumper setting on both of them thats possible, and still no luck. The 2 hard drives are hooked to the same IDE cable.....

    you need to format it.

    Start -> Run "diskmgmt.msc"
    In the window that pops up, near the bottom there is the partitions, right-click the one that says "unformatted" and click "Format".
