I went from 145 to 165lbs pretty quickly. Working out 3-4 days a week an running 4-5 days a week.

Now I am eating a ton more then I did when I was 145lbs, I have cut the running back to 1 day a week. I for some reason lost weight but my numbers are still going up.

    Edit: I'm 6'1-2" ~165lbs and 12% body fat

Already spending $100 + my meal plan a week

I was keeping track of my calories on fitday, was 4-5k/day. Maybe 1 day a week I would drop below 3k because RIT decided to serve shitty food that made me throw up.

I was told I was running way to much, so I drasticly cut back on it.

Also I just started dead lifting and squating last week. Could that be doing it?

if you are truly eating 4-5K a day and not gaining weight then give up now

you arent doing something right in the following equation

eat + sleep + heavy lifting = growing

find out what you arent doing right and fix it

Could it be genetics? I asked my dad and he said he was always on the "skinny" side till his mid 20's and he played football in college. My metabolism is insanely fast...

Yea, I think I am going to stop running completely, I keep fucking my knees up and plus its not hard for me to gain my running endurance back.

College stresses me out, and I have a shitty roommate, its really hard to sleep at night. When I crash in other peoples room's, go home, or crash at my friend's places, I sleep like a rock.

How on earth are you spending 100 bucks a week? I spend about 40 max and that's enough for around 3500 "clean" calories. 4500-5000 is just a shake or two away

Because RIT rips us the fuck off, prices are jacked way up. I don't have a kitchen or a car. So I'm forced to eat most of my meals on campus.

Water 4 liters + 3 glasses of milk w/ lunch, 2-4 glasses of milk w/ dinner, plus more water with my second dinner or more milk + the milk with my protien shake.

    sleep patters...

I pass out around 1-2am wake up at 9-11am... it is rougly 8-9hrs of sleep, but I tend to drag through my day and take a 1hr nap. I also really don't sleep through the night, I wake upe 3-5 times having to pee or I just wake up and have trouble getting back to sleep.

I tend to sleep well on the floor of my friend's dorm (at another college) or in my own bed home on Long Island.

The best sleep I get is right after I get laid. Only reason I wake up is because she wants to go at it again or because she has someplace to be and I don't have a key to lock her door.

8 hours minimum (IMO whether you're lifting or not, 8 is a solid number to stay healthy in all ways, including muscle growth)

edit: nevermind, looks like you're getting 8 hours.

Try to make it solid without waking up though. Try meditating before sleep and deep breathing... That oughta relax you enough, also maybe drink less water after your last nighttime piss so you aren't waking up constantly to piss.

I think its a sleep thing... I went to bed at like 9:30ish, woke up now at 11:20ish and I'm wide awake...

Only reason I spend so much on food, is because I lack a kitchen and my college rips me off. I'm sure I could spend a lot less on food if I had a full kitchen.
