Trouble drinking no-xplode and other pre-workout powder supplments...

    For some reason I have a lot of trouble taking down a glass of no-xplode or any other similar powder supplement... I always end up gagging.

    I've tried quick gulp downs, slow sips, straws but nothing works! I usually go for 2 scoops of no-xplode (fruit punch flavor) mixed into water but I can never finish the entire drink. :hsd: The taste is just too strong for me to handle.

    Should I just give up on these or is there anything out there with equal potency in pill form?

    if you're cool with sugar pre-workout, then mix it in juice -even if it's diluted.

    Try orange or grape

    How much water are you mixing the two scoops with? Why not just one scoop?

    about a full glass... between 8-10oz I guess

    The reason I'm taking 2 scoops is because my tolerance level to stimulants is pretty high... if I could find a way to enjoy this shit then I would probably be taking 3 scoops

    we should compile a list of all the pre w/o supps and make 2 categories, ones that have magnesium and ones that do not

    i love the taste of no xplode, if you follow the 1 scoop for 6-8oz or whatever it is, it tastes great. So if you do 3 scoops do 24oz which is what i do and its great

    Now whey protein is a whole nother story :(

    but to go along with other people No Xplode is the shit, i work out with a friend, we started at the exact same weight 6 weeks ago, i am now more than 10lbs ahead of him on every workout, and can finish the amount we set out for, he struggles to it

    my shit was green for the first week of taking it (the lime flavor) since then my body has adapted to it i guess and i dont have any color.

    I almost threw up a few times the first week, but thats because i had taken it a year ago and skipped that whole build up to 3 scoops and went straight at it

    no xplode does not have enough creatine and it is recommended to take a little extra.

    I dont personally but have thought about it, can anyone chime in on this?

    i've heard good things about this new supp called uh, jack3d. I believe it's jack3d or yacked. It might be a soft j. I'm not sure, but apparently you just get sick fucking pumps and set new PRs. It's supposed to be wild.

    I dunno if its a flavor issue for you or what, but Superpump 250 in Pink Lemonade flavor tastes better than real pink lemonade.

    Give it a shot.

    Ficus, would you mind explaining? I'm fairly new to BBing and always figured that most pre-workout supps had basically the same thing.

    I've gotten the best pumps I've ever had on Superpump.

    When I first tried no xplod, I started off with 32oz of water for one scoop. Once I got comfortable with that, I used 16.9oz (Costco Water) for one scoop.

    After my tolerance increased I started doing 1-1/2 - 2 scoops in 16.9 oz of water..

    Read the label on the container... It tells you to mix it to your tolerance...
