So, I managed to get enough money for my birthday to buy a tripod...which I got to use twice...before someone stole it yesterday. They left my camera and wallet, but stole the tripod, which wasn't even some amazing expensive one. WTF. :ugh: Bah. Anyway, here's a couple of pics I took down by the river before it disappeared...Look Ma, no Auto! :wiggle:

I admit, using a tripod makes things a -lot- easier, and it offered me ore flexibility than I was expecting. Now I just have to go buy a new one and buy a pit bull to guard it.

For these kinds of pics, a tripod isn't really necessary. Low light situations or other slow shutter speed kinds of shots are where a tripod comes in handy.

*nods a little* I was looking forward to using it for low-light stuff...I was just impatient to try it out. =P And now I gotta go buy another one!

    edit:
Thanks. =) I liked how it made them glow...

Or if you are shooting at like f/22+ or something...

but ya, most of these shots did not need a tripod at all.

He's asking if it was stolen out of your car, your house...or maybe you left it unattended and someone walked off with it?

Oh, right. It was taken...out of a closed garage. o_O It was really weird.

*laughs* So be it. I like that one the best.
