    Getting a Nikon D80 with 18-55 kit lens, a 55-200 VR, and a basic Hoya UV filter. :noes:

    D80 doesn't come with an 18-55 kit lens (afaik, maybe in USA)

    ive got the d80
    i recommend selling the kit lens and getting the Tamron 17-50. I love mine
    Congrats on the purchase

    Can' say enough nice things about the Tamron 17-50 when replacing the kit lens.

    I only got the kit for the wide angle. I got everything Adorama. The Tamron is a bit more than I'd like to spend. A good friend of mine has a 50mm 1.4 and a 135mm 2.8 that he's going to let me borrow.

    Now the wait for UPS...
