I have a S&W 629 and was wonder what kind of trigger work can be done on it.

I don't really want to mess with the double-action as I like the weight it's at now but would love to have the single stage lowered down more. If I'm cocking the hammer, then I want a light trigger pull anyway.

How much lighter? cause my 686+ has a Really light SA. I'd send it back to S&W and see what they could do it.

Check at the s&w forum http://smith-wessonforum.com I'd urge you to read alot though before tearing into it. Alot of people have devised "their" way of doing trigger jobs and what they think works great often has flaws they don't realize.
