I went out with great intentions of shooting these cannons at sunset, but i was disappointed by quite a few things I hadn't considered like, the sunsetting in a different spot than i anticipated, more fucking cars than I anticipated, and even more lack of talent than i anticipated.

At any rate, I shot a lot of pictures and these are the only 3 I really like. First shots are straight out of the camera in RAW, 2nds are after lightroom.

Nikon D70s, kit 18-70mm with polarizer, SB800 on a separate tripod, also used the pop up flash.

3rd shot i did lying on the ground, so no tripod on that one.

The B/W one to me is begging for a more antique look and grain.

I'm guessing those are before and after processing on each one? if so, I like the first and second set, but like EW said, more antique look on the BW would make it killer.

yeah, the before is straight out of the camera. i thought about doing more on the b/w shot, but I didn't want to go too far.

I was thinking that i had actually done too much on the 2nd pic, it looks a little too saturated to me after coming back to it 10 minutes later.

dont even bother editing the canon pictures if there is a modern paved road in the background.
but ya the sephia and grain really nail the look

Ran it through Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro since you wanted b&w.
