So today at work I go and deposit $240 in my bank account so ill have enough in there for my new rifle im going to get. I hae to go out of my way becuase the bank right across the street from where I work was robbed. (Interesting note, the Pontiac Police Officer I saw outside was carrying a G36) So I leave work and head over to Dunhams for the k31 i wanted. They had one left in decent condition, so i went to the next dunhams over about 15 minuntes away. They had two of them, in worse condition. So I head back over to the 1st one and decide to buy it. I fill out all that fucking paperwork and the background check and all that bs. It all passed and they take my gun and ammo to the front counter to check out. And my fucking credit card was declined. By this time im pretty pissed off. I go home and check my balance online, it has like $200 over the amount needed to buy the gun. So now I have to go back there tomorrow to buy the goddamn thing, and fill out all the paperwork..... again.

On a sidenote Im going to the shootnig range sunday with a friend of mine and his new chinese dragunov. That should be fun, and there will be pics.

Sucks about having to do that all again, NDM86? I wouldnt mind one in .308, but I think I'm just going to build a romanian PSL and save a bunch of money instead :hs:

 already have a TIGR in x54R, so the .308 would be cool for me, but then I'de be in the same boat I'm in with the TIGR, probably none ever coming into the country again so I hate to shoot it to much :hs:

nah, its a major sporting goods line in the region. I think its all over the north eastern US, at least I think. And you should check out aim surplus, they got a new shipment of K31's in and they are supposed to be pretty nice.

I shoot the TIGR, especially when I go upstate I'll put alot of rounds through it, The romanian PSL kits are pretty cheap, recievers are a couple hundred bucks can put one together for under $600, I'll probably do that and then just run a couple mags through the TIGR once in awhile, PSL really isn't the same thing but with decent quality ammo or handloads the accuracy is acceptable.

hell, thats why im getting a k31. Very accurate, and they are all over the place. Plus they are dirt cheap. I plan on getting the clamp on scope mount and im not sure which scope yet but making that my first scoped rifle.

I think S&K claims to hold zero on their mounts, and they require not tapping or drilling
