The p2000 has the longest trigger pull ever. It was so weird. The glock was decent, but I hated the sights. The 226 I shot best with (9mm). A little less kick than the glock and better sights. Next up in my search for a carry 9mm is the P250. Any other recommendations?

Now you just have to try an M&P.

I was thinking about the M&P but completely forgot about it when I got to the range. Do the MP 9 and the Walthers have short trigger pulls?

I actually shot best with my Detonics .45 :) but I like the cost of 9mm ammo.

The M&P isn't long by any means... I guess it's just sort of in the middle. I like it.

The Walthers have two triggers. AS is a DA/SA similar to Zachs Sig. The QA, which is what I'm getting is more like the Glock.

    lol at M&P

HK is the best. Why? Because we told you so. If you cant handle the trigger youre not a true operator. And because you suck, and we hate you. :mamoru:

M&P is not an option for imo until they come out with a rev. 2 that is 110% sure to feed any and all JHP's.

They're already reliable. All the new M&P's of late have been great.

Most of MP_ were good, but some had issues. Nearly all of M_P have been problem free.
    So consider than your revision.

I shot one at a SW day at my local range. Felt and shot like a POS :dunno: Definitely wouldn't get one over a Glock, especially with their reputation.

So you saw one and touched it, it LOOKED like piece of shit, so now you're going to lol at everyone else that wants one or wants to try one.

Keep in mind, you saw a gun store display model, ok? Those usually are beat up.
It was also probably an older version.

Anyway, you don't know what you're talking about, so stfu until you've actually shot one.

You probably shot a shitty beat up range model.

if you have access to a sig 228 try to shoot one of those. they're a little hard to find but they are one of the better shooting 9mms out there. the 250 will be interesting to see how well it does.

I thought the P229 was the 228 with a few small upgrades? Care to explain the finer differences? :x:

M&P hate, lols. Mine has never had one problem, I don't ever clean it (the barrel looks like a sewer). It rarely gets oiled. It will run Speer Gold Dots all day with no problems, and that is about the largest-mouthed hollowpoint I know of.

the 228 has a stamped steel slide and is essentally a compact version of the 226. when sig wanted a .40 and their .357 in a compact version they needed a milled slide. th main differences are the slide. 228 if you want 9mm or 2229 if you want to go bigger. they make a 9mm in th 229 which is why Sig is no longer offering the 228 to civilians.

hope that was as clear as mud.
