you dont necessarily have to do 5x5 on everything but your first progression looks good, i like to take 10 or 20 lb jumps each set if I am shooting for volume

try doing 5x5 on your flat, then something like 3-4x8-10 for your inclines

I felt like my 3x's 10 on the bench was at a standstill of sorts so I wanted to switch it up some, would it be cool if the only thing I did 5X5 was the flat bb bench? and kept everything else at 3 sets of 10

I never really understood the whole 3x10 thing on bench anyway

besides warmups/lightweight I don't like going past 6 or 8... and the 3 sets being work sets.

i like to stick with the same weight when doing 5x5, typically a weight that i can get the first 3 sets with without help, but will need a spot on the last 2

then i up it 5lbs next week
