I was wondering if anyone could throw out some names of some hip hop groups with a similiar sound to Tribe. I am not real big on Hip Hop except when it comes to them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Tribe are pretty goddamn unique as far as hip hop goes. Also theyre style varied a bit over the years. Which is your favorite album?

I have heard some of the old Black Eye Peas stuff and I didnt like much of it. I saw them live back in 1996 and they werent very good then. They certaintly have good commercial but I think I like their commercial stuff better than their old which is unusual for me.

I have heard De La Soul, they are very good. Any more?

The Roots is a good call, and maybe Jurassic 5, but thats kinda pushing it in similarity to Tribe, but J5 is good none the less

That jazzy, east-coast bump is hard to find.

No one has really sounded like that in a long time. Do you like the B-boys or Busta Rhymes?

IMO, De la soul's new stuff is too serious and it's lost the aloof humor.
