Tree SAP in my paint :: how to remove it without damage?

    hi guys

    my car got some tree sap on it it seems, it seems like glue but its probably tree sap.

    whats the best way to remove it without damaging my car's paint

    Sometimes just picking at it works. Look in the tar removal thread, what works on tar generally works on sap.

    Nail polish remover pads. Then wash and wax.

    You can use tar removers like scottwax said. I like to use mineral spirits. It is inexpensive, does the job quick so you arent rubbing the hell out of the paint, it can be purchased at any hardware store and it's clearcoat safe.
