My traps routine is 3 sets of shrugs and then 3 sets of barbell upright rows. I've been doing this once a week and while my strength has significantly increased, the size of my traps has remained pretty much the same.

Should I do my routine twice a week instead of once? What else can I do to increase the size of my traps?

    I want massive traps.

    Thanks

My traps have gotten pretty big just doing deadlifts and cleans.

I started doing seated DB shrugs, seems to hit them better.

i do 4 sets barbell shrugs in the front and then on a slightly inclined bench (probably like 95 degrees) i do 3 sets of dumbell shrugs. then two days later i do uprights rows. i've been doing this for like a month and ive seen my traps really grow.

i was just fucking with you...lol

I highly endorse them, only I used to do them like you see in the video, now I do them heavier and with straps so I can do a go 1-2 second hold at the top of each.

I like the trap bar for shrugs a lot better than BB. My shoulders dont pop as much. Recently discovered a medieval neck harness at my gym, so I've been doing that twice a week
