It's that time of year again... Every year, all employees of the Tech Department get $1500 to spend on training and development in ANY field, as long as you can loosely tie it to technology.

2 years ago, I went to a 'printing for the fine art photographer' workshop with Charlie Cramer http://www.charlescramer.com/ (guy is fucking amazing. Well worth the $$), then last year I went to Photoshop World in Boston, as well as taking a bunch of local CS4 'up to speed' classes...

I got nothing this year... Gimme some ideas...

Ideally, it would be in an awesome location that I could stay and hang out in for a week or so, since work is footing the bill...

I was thinking the Florida Keys over Christmas break, maybe Colorado or Southern California in spring, etc...

    any ideas?

and do you really host seminars?

or do you just want to send me a 'paid' invoice and split the $$?

This time of year? Not much.. I've visited my friends over there and there really isn't much to see. Maybe a local is better tuned to answer that question though :mamoru:

I host seminars through the store I work at,
It's really not worth visiting :o haha. It's just a 2 hour thing for $50, and Edmonton is pretty boring in the fall.

I'm the photo editor for the Oilers, I shoot stuff the photog can't get to, and manage the remote cameras.

Team photog for the Oil Kings, which isn't really "minor league", but yeah it's not NHL
