CCW permit class Jan 7&8. After that, I'll have to search for more stuff available in my area.. it seems to be rather scarce.

I'd like to take a basic nra pistol class, I've never had anything like that and figure I might learn something about technique or cleaning I don't already know. Seems pretty basic and boring but...

You ever heard of this place: http://www.stormmountain.com/ ?

I have no plans on training there or anything, I just had no idea there was a facility like this anywhere near here :o

Should have said immediate area, there are some damn fine tactical instruction areas in the state, just can't find the time to get out there.

I'm planning on going to california next summer to the Tactical Firearms Traning Team facility. I talk to a guy that lives out there that trains there, its supposedly a great place, run by former and current spec-ops guys.

I'm interested in Tactical Pistol, Tactical Rifle, and Optical Rifle.

I am going to try and make it to the Steve Tarani - Improvised Weapons class in Jan, but I don't know if I can swing it.

I plan on going to Memphis to the Tactical Conference @ Rangemaster in Feb :x:

For sure I am going to hit a Super Dave pistol class and Randy Cain Tactical 101. Tac 101 is a GREAT class and I highly suggest it to anyone. It's all about the basics niggas.

Talk to Rich, he is a Marine and an NRA instructor and he offers private classes in pretty much any subject you could want at very reasonable prices.

edit: fuck the site is down, but you can call him. If you're interested i'll PM you his phone number.

Well, having only taken one class this year, I feel like I missed out. Super Dave had to cancel on us due to family emergency, and next year, my training budget (and my time off work) may be maxed out with two classes:

    Tactical Response Skills Prep
Tactial Response/Global Medical Rescue Services HRCC.

I really, really look forward to both of those. I wish I could just take them back-to-back, and stay up in Camden the whole time, instead of having to take them at opposite ends of the month, but oh well.

For me, I get all kinds of cool-guy training, but more importantly, the second class has a vast impact on my current job. It's medical training and shooting training, all in one. You really can't beat that.
