Hi guys. I was at Thunderhill in Willows, CA for the weekend with Zoom Zoom trackdays. I had a blast out there. All I can say is having instructors rock. On Saturday I was in a novice school which had class room instruction as well as personal instruction on the track. The class room instruction was great because of the reference points the instructors recommened for each turn. Having an instructor on track to show me the correct line as well as critique my riding was awesome. They pointed out errors they saw in my riding and I worked to improve all weekend. By the end of Saturday I had a few instructors recommend to move up to B group as they felt the limited passing in C group was hindering my time on the track and that I was ready to run with the intermediate group. I took it as a great compliment and on Sunday I ran with B group. B group was much more enjoyable because of the more lenient passing rules along with the fact that the pace was much quicker than in the novice school. Overall I had a very good weekend and felt my riding improved a great deal. The only downside is my buddy went down early on Sunday and we ended up leaving at lunch, but he walked away with only a small gash on his arm and a pretty banged up bike. Well sorry for my rant and on with the pics.
