    . Mitch!

Sorry Matt, but you're in the wrong forum. Nothing fuel efficient in the American Muscle forum ... that's intentional.

    Try the import forums.

I own an 07 Yaris sedan. Its not the "coolest" car out there, certainly not the fastest, but it gets damn good mileage. I can fill it up for $18 now with around $1.60 gas prices. I dont like the look of the hatchback though.

I thought the yaris would be a good trade for my truck when I first saw them advertised. If I had sold my truck I'd only need to bank aother 4k to buy one outright.

Then I saw one in person and almost vomited.

It think it would be impossible to make one of those POS little cars look good in person.

If you want a toyota econobox aimed at the 16-24 crowd, go for the xA.

I dunno, I like the way the Yaris looks. Then again, I also like the way the first-gen xB looks, too.

However, if I wanted a really tiny car, I'd get a Smart ForTwo; I've seen lots of people rockin' those things around here, and I routinely get passed by some old dude with a crazy beard driving an orange one at 85mph on the highway I take to work. Fucking cracks me up.

Corolla is another cheap option that gets good gas mileage, roughly 28-30 in the city and 35-38 highway. Yaris gets a little bit better but I think the Corolla type S is way sexier. Both inexpensive cars and can be bought for around 10K used. Don't get the hatchback yaris though, ugliest car next to the echo and prius.

Yeah, I'm lukewarm on the Yaris.

First gen xB, while ugly, isnt BAD looking. New Gen is teh fuxord.

    Yaris is teh fuxord.

everything toyota econo box is fuxord except the xA. Same engine, same size car, a bit more expensive, and more features.

I busted out laughing yesterday when I saw a Yaris S gray with the hub caps removed and some sticker on the back.
