I'm looking for a car in the 25k-35k... I want to get a new car. I want a 4 door that's bigger than my current car, 02 acura rsx... The acura tsx is an option for me, but the more i look at the venza the more i see myself driving in it. what do you guys think?

i will most likely be getting it to replace my highlander in a couple years.

it's been something i've been waiting for a long time from toyota. another camry/camry-based wagon.

Only thing I really like is the amount of interior space.

But there are a bunch of things i don't like about it. the stupid enormous wheels on this thing. the tires will cost more to replace. heavier wheels will probably eat more gas in the city, but epa results seems pretty efficient for a such a fat car. built in america, so the quality will be sub par relative to the built in japan vehicles. the d-pillar looks to be a pretty bad blind spot.

I've seen/sat in one in the dealership, but have yet to test drive one. I assume it's will be the same coffin like drive. I also assume it will be get 5-star crash test ratings on all sides across the board. i can't see how it can get any less. it should be much quieter on the road than my highlander's wind raker.

I have yet to see one on the road though.

Meh. Crossovers don't do much for me. I want a vehicle that handles well. If I need to carry shit from time to time, I'll buy an old van.

Cry more about it. Most of the stuff Toyota sells in the US is built here these days.

i like them alot but i think theyre a tad bit on the expensive side maybe. From what ive heard the dealerships havent been able to sell them at all. They got the V6s in first back in december and the I4s in january which wasnt the smartest way to do it

    most, but not all:mamoru:

if i were to buy a toyota it would either be the lexus brand or Prius/Landcruiser, 100% built in Japan. :mamoru:

US factory just cant build high quality automotive prodcuts. :mamoru:

No, Big 3 factories can't build high quality stuff. The Euro and Jap brands built in the US can.

Plus, most "American" cars are built in mexico or canada anyways.

I saw one on the road the other day in the opposite lane and thought it was a car that had been in a front end accident. As it drew closer I realized it was the Venza.

IMO, there are probably better crossovers on the market.

    Untrue on all counts.

If most of their products were assembled in Mexico then labor costs would not be an issue. :mamoru:
