    First time shooting motorsports, all handheld and manual focus :hs:

    Ricardo Zonta in the current TF106 going down the corkscrew.

    He ended up beating the the absolute lap record by a little over a second. The record was something like 1:07:XXX and he did a 1:06:XXX. But he didn't have a chance to switch to new tires after a few runs on Saturday so he might be able to beat it again today (Sunday).

    Manual focus + F1 = you got some bawlz!! :eek3: or a nice batch of out of focs pics when you get home :mamoru:

    I was practicing some panning shots with AF before the F1 car came out and it was just too slow and unreliable so I did manual focus instead. I focused on the kerbing and slightly adjusted as the F1 car came around. It wasn't too bad :o

    I had the same problems shooting the Champ cars, my best shots of the day were done with MF....focus in on the middle of the pan and follow thru with the car...
