Hey, figured I'd make a dedicated thread for Toy Story 3. It's coming out next summer and here is the trailer if you have not seen it yet. I'm so glad that Pixar is coming out with another TS film, obviously all Pixar films are great, but I honestly think the Toy Story characters are may be my favorite.

Jessie The Cowgirl? Not Fan? Really? She's actually voiced by Joan Cusack. Who would you say is your favorite character? Mine I think is Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, their jokes would always crack me up. Also, when I was younger I was REALLY in to plastic army men, so I always liked them as well.

A new image of from the film was released online last week. Looks like the toys are in a box being shipped to Sunnyside Daycare. It's nice to see all the toys together again.

To be honest, I really enjoyed the other Toy Story films, even if I am considered too old for them, they still hold a place in my heart.

Looking forward to number 3 ^^

I agree, I understand that the Toy Story films are geared more towards kids, however I honestly feel like they're such solid and classic stories, and that the characters are so "normal" and relatable that the films are able to entertain a wide range of audiences when it comes to age. I'm just excited to see what sort of adventure the toys will be going on in the 3rd one.

Have you all seen this clip from the film? After I watched it I was beyond excited to see the movie. It's great to see all the old characters back in action, but in a new story. Pixar is capable of even making a 5 minute clip entertaining and engaging.

I know! I think it's pretty awesome that they decided to have Andy grow up, as if the Toy Story world continued on. Thoughts on having Andy grow up?

That will be nice to take your kids, have they seen any of the other Toy Story movies yet? I just looked on IMDb, can you believe that the 1st Toy Story was released in 1995, 15 years ago. It's crazy to think how much the animation technology has come along since then.

Premise is Andy is grown up, moving to college and the Toys experience a day in the life of a day care toy and decide that's not the life they want, or something like that.

At Disneyland they have some neat stuff, especially in California Adventure, in Animation Academy they have some special movie clips, and then a dedicated area with the Toy Story Zeotrope. So insane, really gives you a new respect for animation.

Shitty video but you get the idea.

I can't wait for the next movie. They are also changing the current Aladdin show at DCA to a Toy Story musical too. And Cars 3 comes out in a while and DCA will also have a cars land now.

Cars 2 hasn't been released yet, but I believe is in production.

As for Andy going on to college, I love the idea that the Toy Story world continued on, and when we come back to the characters, everyone is a little bit more grown up, as opposed to Andy still being a kid. I think it gives it a more realistic feel, and also allows Pixar some more creative freedom in terms of the story and the jokes they use.
