i'm downloading a file, connected to 50 peers (out of hundreds)
i have encryption enabled, and so everyone i'm connected to has the same.
i turned off upload and download limits.

most of the people i'm connected to have 100% of the file.
the rest have 30%, 20%, etc.

but i'm not downloading from ANY of the people with 100%, only from those who have the smaller percentages. as a result, the download is crawling.

why am i not downloading from everyone i'm connected to?

could be that they are maxxed out on their connections and you are queued to download the file when others are done...shooting from the hip here.

might want to check out some client setup guides..it may explain max connections allowed etc.

okay, that might be it. it just blows my mind that there are hundreds of seeders, and i'm farting along at 10k.
