been lifting pretty hard and consistent for the last 2 weeks, i maxed out at 185 and i weigh 198..i was doing shoulders also pretty heavy these last 2 weeks, and have noticed awesome gains, but now my left upper chest hurts, its sore, but feels worse than just sore, when i breathe in it hurts... i think i might need to take a week off, or am i just being a pussy?

^^its all around my upper peck, it follows the outside line all the way around to my sternum. when i stretch my left arm back at a 45 degree angle, it hurts like a mofo..

If it didn't suddenly hurt while doing an exercise you probably just need to take a break then, sounds like if it's around the outside 'line' as you call it then it's just really really sore, probably even inflamed since it hurts badly.

If you messed it up during the exercise it's a different story

yeah, when i breathe in and out, its a sharp pain, its kinda hard to get comfortable. i'm pretty sure its the clavicular head, any way of getting some comfort on it? massage therapy?
