Planning on going up to visit a buddy within the next 6 months and i'd like to get some new ink while i'm up there.

    Any recommendations?

Styles i prefer are newskool, japanese traditional/newskool, bold/bright colors, not all skulls and death/Giger type shit.

I've had them bookmarked for a while now. Which of their artists would you suggest for new skool type stuff? They've had the same pictures up for forever.

I would go to Adrian Lee. I've heard from people that he has the most amazing equipment and techniques to make a tattoo perfect. He apparently well versed with computers as well so he puts many of his designs through image editors and makes them that much more complex and symmetrical. I absolutely love his style.

Any idea how much he charges per hour?

Oh, and i fucked up. My buddy's living in Monterey, not San Jose. :o

    Right on, right on.

Gonna have to look into how far the shop is from my friend's place.
