We took off just as all of the sons and dads were showing up. Overall, I'm pretty pleased, it's my 4th time shooting off of a bench ever, and my first time out with this rifle. We had to get the scope dialed in and whatnot, and I had to work on improving my form; the .308 has a bit more recoil than the 10/22. My good group ended up .540" center to center with Federal Gold Medal Match at 100 yards. With some good handloads and a stock that's not as floppy as the Hogue, plus more practice I should be able to tighten them up even more. A hair over .5 MOA feels pretty good for a straight out of the box rifle and factory ammo.
