Well, here we go. My first run, I decided to go easier as they teched me at no faster than 11.5. So I launched in 2nd gear, traction control off on DRAG RADIALS..... LOL I ALMOST KILLED MYSELF.

    1st run:

    60ft 1.948
    1/8 [email protected]

    [email protected]

So now, you will most certainly see that mph hasnt changed. Well that because now i have a new problem. On drag radials this damn thing is getting sideways when it shift to 3rd at 80mph and the traction control is clicking on!

SO for my next runs, I turned the traction control back on, even with a burnout, im still getting major traction problems and the car would kick out at 80 causing me to lift. According to the guys working the track they advised me they had a few baldspots on the track ( i guess that means oily) . Anyways, even with lifting and the T/C light I came very close to breaking into the 10's :

    Best run:
    60 ft 1.718
    1/8th 7.202 @100.735
    [email protected]

    Other three runs:

    60ft 1.800
    1/8th [email protected]
    1/4 [email protected]

    60ft 1.784
    1/8 [email protected]
    [email protected]

    60ft 1.841
    1/8th [email protected]

After seeing a 15 sec Mustang get squirly and almost smack the wall, I decided not to press my luck.

Here are videos, and you can clearly hear the car starts spinning the tires midway throw each of the runs.

1st video illustrates just how much the traction control interferes off the line. Turning the t/c off, even with drag radials results in unlimited wheelspin:

    Nice runs Allan.

Im sure you could hit that 10 sec pass..you have the MPH for it.

It looks in your videos as if your not really heating the tires up much, maybe with some more heat they will hook a little better all the way down the track for yah.

Thanks but I think ive missed the remainder of the drag race season here in AZ. I was hoping to go next this weekend but the track is reserved for some bike weekend, and next weekend I will be gone. Temps here are already in the upper 80's. I did however get a VBOX so I am doing some testing with that.

On my first tests I got 0-60 in 3.6 sec, and 0-90mph in 6.2 starting in 2nd gear!
