I was working on my computer and noticed there was a really nice sunset out. I've been wanting to get some nice sunset shots of my motorcycle and thought this was as good of an opportunity as any. I jumped on my bike and rode about 400 yards behind my condo to a trail head parking lot.

I shot with my Nikon D50, Sigma 10-20mm and had my SB-600. Since I had nothing to remotely control the flash with, in some of them i was just walking around popping it off as the camera was exposing :o

I wish i had another flash and something that could control them... then i could have lit my bike up more than I did.

The only PP done was adjusting the levels a bit and removing sensor dust in lightroom.

The Impact brand light stands they have at B&H are cheap but the build quality is pretty decent. I have two for my 580EX II and my 383 and I don't really have any complaints. If you're looking more compact Bogen has a pretty small and light one for around $50.
