Not bad but not great (esp for a modded rifle.) Did you do much shooting with it before modding it?

Weird thing to me is that your not very consistent between groups. I'm usually either consistently good or consitently bad on any given day, but all of my groups will look pretty consistent for that day one way or the other.

Will... your groups look nice and consistent, but between groups why aren't you adjusting your point of aim to bring your point of impact closer to the center of the target?

What is the Swampfox ultimate starter kit?

And go out farther than 25yard... 50 or 100.

I fired my M1 last friday, and the only time I shot at 25 yards was to fine tune my sight aperture. After that, I was shooting at 50 and 125 yds

oh snap, I didnt see that. Thats ok I guess, but with a scope it should be better. I almost shot better with my SKS with iron sights the first time I shot it

I wanted to see which ammo my rifle liked more. And when your bullseye is blown away with holes, its hard to aim for groups :o But its right on target now. I wished my 50yd groups looks just as good :hsd:

How's the target hammer effect the trigger pull?

BEST mod I did to my rifle. The trigger pull is much more lighter and smooth. I cant image what one of those expensive trigger jobs can do. Once you go with a target hammer, shooting a 10/22 without is just not enjoyable. :o

My 10/22 is stock and the trigger just feels too mushy. There isn't any feel to the break at all.

Spur of the moment im limited to what wal mart stocks.

Im going to pick up some Wolf MT
    Eley Target/Match

    And see what happens.

Im still learning this rifle, my optics blow I think I have a parallax issue so a new scope is next on my list.

I put a brick of cheap crap through it and then changed all the parts.

a 15 mph cross wind really messes with what a .22 can do at 100 yards.

I was shooting 50 yards but ran out of targets None of them were impressive.

I have never been a group shooter this is new to me. My 50 yard targets all look the same 1 shot bulleye 9 out of 10 times.

Im going to borrow a bench rest and see what the gun can really do.

Also in defense of my ego, groups were shot after 3 hours of shooting in the 92 degree texas sun. Not much of an excuse but im sure I could do better.

Where are you going to find Wolk MT? I have been looking EVERYWHERE!

Theres a way for checking for parallax. Just set the rifle down on some bags pointing at the target. Then without touching the rifle, look through the optics at the target. Then move your head and see if the crosshairs and whatever is directly behind it changes. Do it at 25 and 50 yards. If your scope doesnt have an adjustable objective, the factory could have set the scope to be parallax free at 50 or 100 yards depending on what type of scope it is.

Put few through my .22 after finishing up with the Glock today. I thought I had a box of CCI Velocitors in my bag but I was wrong so I just shot with the bulk plinking crap.

Nothing special, just thought I'd post it.
