Can't find my old thread as I got my old account back. took a few pics today, a little under 5 weeks to go, I've decided to step up the cardio and cut my carbs from 150 to about 120, I'm starting to get worried about my lower abs/obliques. For those who HAVE competed, do you think I am going to be alright for 5 weeks? I feel like I'm behind. Any other suggestions would be great, thanks.

I recently changed up my bi routine and now it's a lot less intense.

    Used to do:
    - straight bar curls with a somewhat wide grip 3x10 then I'd dropset with narrow grip cable curls 3xfailure.
    - reverse grip curls with preweighted bar 3x10 then I'd dropset with reverse grip cable curls 3xfailure.
    - hammer curls either dumbell or rope 3x10.

My bi's would be retardedly tight after this.

    Now I just do:
    3 sets of 21's.
3 sets of hammers 10 reps
3 sets of reverse grip 10 reps.

you are not behind diet wise, your behind muscle wise. You need to thicken your abs greatly. Do not over complicate it, you dont have alot of muscle to waste so be real careful with how much cardio you do. Also use fats ALOT if the carbs go to low. You have a ton of time to get even harder and alot of what your worring about is water. Your doing fine man, just fine. EVerything is coming along

Thanks that makes me feel a lot better. Right now I do the elliptical in the morning for 30 minutes, moderate-high intensity intervals 5 days a week. Then I'll train in the early afternoon. That about right?

Yea I know what you mean about the abs, that's one thing I regret neglecting is my core training, I'm going to hit it hard in the off season.
