Okay, so I was only running time only so no points, as did my boyfriend (he ran in our friend's Talon rally car) morning time only doesn't classify with ours since the conditions were vastly different, so afternoon times only

but damn, not bad I don't think considering I was driving a couch around the course, luckily it was a 4wd couch, but still, a damn couch

was kinda fun, not used to being up so high off the ground though when trying to race :p and I can't believe I didn't hit one single friggin cone, I don't think I've ever had 3 clean runs over 3 separate events, but yesterday all three of my runs were clean :eek3:

cliffs: you can rallycross damn near anything, even a sofa on wheels

I even got it sideways a few times

but I had to keep adjusting the seat because it's got leather interior and I kept sliding forward and being choked by the seatbelts

I could see people taking them, but I dunno who they were or I'd have asked them to email to me

I got a lot of comments about looking good out there, which I thought was pretty funny.

no, the guy who rented it for the rally school did

okay, he thinks maybe he broke it but it didn't fall apart until the other guy drove it

but, they were able to fix it and both the other people running it late afternoon were able to get in all their runs

yeah, but not with me driving my brother's tahoe, this was the first time I'd used it for that purpose

we were supposed to run the mistu rallytruck, but it had issues they weren't able to get fixed in time, so I borrowed my brother's chev and ran that instead

I would too. I felt like I was going soooooooo slow. And I suppose in a way I was :o

I just could never get it to pull as much as I needed it to :hs: and the brakes were weirding me out

    but, LFB FTW

    dirt/mud/grass

    well, mostly mud

it was an odd rallyX course, only 5 or 6 turns (okay, maybe more than that, didn't seem like it though), but three fucking slaloms, two of them were really long too

it was $30 entry fee for a non SCCA member (I'm not one) and $25 if you are

if it's a little drier, but not so dry they have to use the water truck to keep the dust down, then we can get in 4 or sometimes 5 runs

but when it's really sloppy out, and for the first 3 groups it was veddy slippery (I heard the morning groups it was a fucking swamp) then it takes longer to run the course and so it means you don't get as many runs

so, we only got three each :sad2:

    was still fun though
