I've been taking GNC Mega Men which has 100 IU of Vitamin E. I picked up Theratears Nutritional for my dry eyes and it has 187 IU of Vitamin E along with fish oils and flax seed oil. Is this too much Vitamin E in one day?

The upper level dose for vitamin E is:
    • 1,000 mg = 1,500 IU natural vitamin E = 1,100 IU synthetic vitamin E
I take a 400IU vitamin e supplement every 1-2 days, no ill effects

You get plenty of vitamin E from foods. Even while cutting I get 100%. Nuts, seeds, and oils have a lot of it.

I don't take the supplements for the vitamin E, it just happens to be in there. Since the two ingredients overlap I don't want to take too much of vitamin E :dunno:

No, 1500IU of natural is fine... 1000IU of synthetic is still fine in healthy individuals... that media hype is just bullshit faggots wanting publicity
